This working group brings together representatives from across the Health Professions Education (HPE) continuum to develop standards and implementation resources for utilizing Virtual Reality (VR) technology in simulation education and to create a vision for the future of emerging technology and immersive learning in simulation education. Representatives across health professions, professional organizations, and industry ensure the broad applicability of this work. Health professions representatives include those from medicine (MD and DO representatives), nursing, pharmacy, occupational therapy, and others.
