The MedBiquitous Annual Conference is an opportunity to network with colleagues from around the world and examine how digital technologies can promote continuous improvement and better outcomes across the continuum of health professions education.

CANCELED: MedBiquitous 2020 - A Shared Vision for the Future

After actively monitoring developments related to coronavirus and engaging with both federal health officials and our member institutions, AAMC leadership made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel MedBiquitous 2020 scheduled to take place on June 8-9 in New York, New York.

The Information Technology in Academic Medicine Conference, sponsored by the Group on Information Resources (GIR), that was scheduled to take place June 9-12 has also been canceled.

On behalf of the AAMC and the MedBiquitous interim Steering Committee, I would like to offer our sincere thanks to the planning committee, Panos Bamidis, Tao Le, JB McGee, Robin Rivest and Tim Willett, for the time and effort they put into planning this year’s conference. They put together what would have been a fantastic conference for the MedBiquitous community.

At this time, we are not planning to reschedule this meeting, virtually or in-person. In the coming weeks we will explore options for sharing critical information and facilitating key conversations with the MedBiquitous community. Please continue to follow the MedBiquitous Community Connection newsletter for more information.

IMPORTANT: You will need to cancel your hotel and airline reservations directly. You are responsible for cancelling your own hotel reservation if you are no longer traveling.
