This speedy presentation describes how two Medbiquitous standards (Virtual Patient and Learning Experience) have helped us formalize the assessment of maladaptive learner behaviours. Not a happy outcome - but the alternatives (long hours spent in dispute resolution or compromising educational standards by inappropriately promoting maladaptive learners) are worse. Data gathered from multiple sources into a common Learner Record Store enabled more objective and accurate assessment of actual learner behaviours, rather than relying on subjective and potentially biased teacher reports.
