[Standards] Outcome for MedBiquitous Competency Framework Ballot

Dear Standards Committee Members,
Please find below the results of the recent voting for the Competency Framework.  Fortunately, a quorum voted.  All responses were affirmative, but 4 responses had comments with the affirmative votes.  The votes and any accompanying comments are included in the attached spreadsheet.

BALLOT POOL
The Standards Committee has 35 voting members and 6 observers. Observers are those who have an interest in the committee's work and may submit comments for consideration but have no vote.

BALLOT SUMMARY
19 voting members voted, which constitutes a quorum. Competency Framework received 15 affirmative votes and 4 affirmative with comments votes. Votes by category are listed below:

The comments recommend non-substantive changes to the specification. MedBiquitous staff has made these changes along with the following non-substantive corrections:

*         Replacing "cataloguing" with "cataloging"

*         Corrected bolding of element names

*         Corrected lom entity XML example in section 9 to reflect lom vcard requirements
The resulting candidate standard is attached. We will let you know when the standard receives final approval from ANSI.
